I had the most amazing farm stay experience at this hidden gem. The hosts were incredibly knowledgeable and treated us like family. The Icelandic horses were a delight to be around and the farm's secluded location made for stunning stargazing nights. The room was clean and comfortable, and the surrounding farmland was picturesque. I highly recommend this place for a unique and memorable stay.

The breakfast spread was very typical of Icelandic hotels, with a good variety of cereals, cold meats, cheese, and fruits. It had everything we needed to start our day. The hot tub was amazing and a highlight of our stay. Sitting outside in the warm water was perfect after a long day of exploring. The cleanliness of the room and the bathroom was also impressive. We appreciated the attention to detail.
The location of the guesthouse was a bit inconvenient as there were no nearby grocery stores or restaurants. It would have been helpful to have known this beforehand so that we could have planned accordingly.

Spacious rooms with effective blinds, ensuring complete darkness. Breakfast includes delicious waffles. Located near stunning Kolugljúfur Canyon. Accessible amenities for families with cribs/cots and high-chairs. Gravel road adds to the picturesque landscape, although can be challenging for small cars.

The food was delicious - breadsticks with hummus and tasty lamb. The staff let us watch the whole football game on the screen in the restaurant. The farm stay had well trained Icelandic horses and a wealth of information from the hosts. The room was comfortable and clean, with great views.
Everything was spot on.

What a hidden gem of a place to stay! The food here was mind-blowing, with the lentil curry being exceptionally delicious and the lamb dish leaving us speechless. The home cooking was done so well, we couldn't stop raving about it. The location was incredibly quiet, perfect for catching the Northern lights, and the isolated setting made it feel like a secret hideaway. The rooms were a pleasant surprise, with sumptuous chairs and stylish dark wood bedside tables that added a touch of luxury. The beds were so comfortable, we had the best sleep here compared to all the other hotels on our trip. Despite being the cheapest stop on our tour, this was undoubtedly one of the best. We also appreciated the small details like having an electric kettle in the room and the option for a later checkout. This accommodation exceeded our expectations for a one-night stay and offered great value for money. The dinner experience was super enjoyable, with delicious breadsticks and hummus as starters and mouthwatering lamb as the main course. We were blown away by how awesome everything was, considering the location's scarcity of competing hotels. To top it off, they even let us watch a football game, including overtime and penalties, on the big screen in the restaurant. Thank you again for the jaw-dropping experience!
